Job Description

Exciting full-time opportunity available from October through December 2026 for a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking a contract position supporting students across two local school sites near Minooka, IL. This unique role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy licensure is required. Previous experience in school-based OT, healthcare, home health, or related settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families. Ability to adapt and tailor therapy strategies to diverse student needs. Organized, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students across two school campuses. Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to meet educational and functional needs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and families, to support student progress. Conduct evaluations, maintain accurate documentation, and monitor student outcomes. Provide direct and consultative OT services in both classroom and pull-out settings. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student planning and goal setting. Adjust strategies and interventions as needed to best serve each student's evolving requirements.
