Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active Occupational Therapist license for the state Previous experience in school-based settings highly preferred Familiarity with age-appropriate OT interventions from elementary to high school Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized therapy plans Knowledge of relevant IEP processes and special education protocols

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to students developmental and academic needs across elementary and high school populations Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and the COTA to optimize student progress Write and update evaluations, progress notes, and reports in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations based on assessments Support program development and best practices for occupational therapy in the educational setting This rewarding contract opportunity provides the chance to work in a collaborative, student-centered atmosphere with flexibility to meaningfully impact both young children and teens.
