Job Description

Step into a pivotal role supporting Early Childhood students as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers a rewarding chance to provide specialized care and guidance in a well-regarded educational environment. Working part-time—approximately 24 hours per week, Monday through Friday—you'll play a significant role in helping young learners develop essential motor and adaptive skills. Candidates should bring a commitment to student-centered therapy, along with the flexibility to adapt to evolving caseload details as they become available. As you travel between sites within the district, your expertise will support both students and educators, making a positive impact in classrooms and beyond.

Qualifications:

Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Ability to travel between buildings within the school district Strong foundation in pediatric therapy Previous experience in a school or special education setting is highly desirable Excellent organizational and documentation skills Team player attitude, with strong collaboration and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

Provide therapy tailored to Early Childhood students with diverse needs Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in alignment with individualized education programs (IEPs) Offer direct interventions that address fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff regarding student progress Maintain accurate records and communicate progress effectively to the educational team You'll find yourself in a vibrant, supportive district dedicated to student growth and professional development.
