Key Qualifications:

Current, valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Experience working in a school setting strongly preferred Knowledge of educational best practices and special education procedures Skill in assessment, development, and implementation of individualized therapy plans Excellent communication abilities to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students unique needs Develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills Provide direct therapeutic intervention in both individual and group settings Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to educational teams Document progress and maintain detailed records in accordance with school and district guidelines Educate staff and families on supportive strategies for student success
