The Seating and Mobility Specialist evaluates individuals with complex rehabilitation, seating, positioning, and mobility needs and recommends appropriate equipment solutions that maximize independence, function, safety, and quality of life. Responsibilities include conducting equipment evaluations, coordinating with physicians and therapists, securing funding and authorizations, ordering and tracking equipment, delivering and fitting equipment, and providing follow-up adjustments and support. Experience in seating and mobility is preferred but not required. This position does require some travel.REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
Associate's degree or higher in healthcare, rehabilitation, or related field. Must maintain a valid driver's license and valid car insurance. Assistive Technology Professional certification, preferred but not required Ability to lift 70 lbs. on an occasional basis and 40 lbs. regularly. Ability to assist clients in activities including kneeling, crouching, reaching, and bending. Ability to lift and transfer, with assistance, individuals who weigh up to 250 lbs. Ability to push large adults in wheelchairs.ABOUT EASTERSEALS

Easterseals provides a variety of services, including PT, OT, Speech, Audiology, aquatics, and Psychology services, has a fully inclusive early learning center serving children 6 weeks to 5 years, has 8 group homes housing adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, custom wheelchair and seating mobility services, drivers rehabilitation programs, home and worksite modification program, transportation and community employment.
