This part-time position, spanning 20-25 hours per week, is ideal for professionals seeking flexibility while maintaining a consistent schedule. Youll be onsite, providing therapy services at four different schools and carrying out PreK evaluations on designated days. In addition to direct therapy, youll have the chance to guide and supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), further expanding your leadership experience.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Current and active Louisiana Occupational Therapist license required Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Comfort with providing OT services across various grade levels Ability to supervise and mentor a COTA Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable transportation to travel between school sites

Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Complete and document thorough PreK evaluations on Fridays Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students learning and participation Supervise and provide guidance to a COTA within the assigned schools Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state standards Enjoy the benefits of an engaging, collaborative atmosphere where your expertise is valued and you can see real results in students' progress.
