Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing essential Occupational Therapy services in vibrant school settings. This position offers a chance to support students' success and well-being throughout the academic year. You will deliver therapy across two sites, collaborating with educational staff and making a direct impact on a diverse student population.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapy license in Louisiana School-based OT experience preferred Comfort and willingness to supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Background in conducting PreK evaluations is a plus
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality OT services to students across two school campuses each week Prepare and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs Conduct PreK assessments on designated Fridays to help guide instructional interventions Accurately document student progress in alignment with school and compliance standards Supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), offering direction and support Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care Maintain flexibility, adapting to the evolving needs of students and school staff With a part-time schedule of 20-25 hours per week spread across Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, this contract is perfect for a therapist seeking balance and the fulfillment that comes from shaping young lives.
