Qualifications and Skills:
Active OT license in the state or eligibility to obtain Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements Strong communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams Adaptability to diverse caseloads and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' therapy needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and other service providers to maximize student success Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal standards Provide consultation and training to school staff regarding best practices and therapy strategies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the planning of student supports
