Your Background:

Active Louisiana (LA) OT License required Previous experience with school-aged populations preferred Strong skills in reassessment, PreK evaluations, and IEP documentation Experience supervising a COTA highly valued Reliable internet connection and proficiency with virtual platforms Commitment to collaborative, multidisciplinary approaches

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive re-evaluations across grade levels to inform student plans Complete PreK evaluations, primarily on Fridays Dedicate at least one day each week to finalize and document Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), providing guidance and support Effectively collaborate with educational staff virtually Ensure timely communication and documentation in adherence with relevant policies Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compliance with all regulations This position offers immediate part-time hours with the flexibility of working from your preferred remote location. While the initial assignment is for one to two months, there is potential for continued involvement through COTA supervision after the contract ends, structured under a straightforward arrangement.
