As we continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Certified Hand Therapist/ Occupational Therapist to join our expanding rehabilitation team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly launched therapy clinic while working alongside experienced orthopedic physicians and rehabilitation professionals in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Position Summary The Certified Hand Therapist / Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and upper-extremity conditions, helping them regain function, independence, and confidence in their daily lives. The ideal candidate is a motivated clinician who values clinical excellence, teamwork, and delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient evaluations to identify impairments, functional limitations, and activity restrictions. Develop and implement goal-driven, individualized treatment plans for orthopedic and upper-extremity conditions. Deliver skilled occupational therapy and hand therapy interventions using best-practice, evidence-based techniques. Provide functional training to support return to daily activities, work, and recreational tasks. Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies, home exercise programs, and injury prevention. Collaborate closely with orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care and effective communication of patient progress. Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with clinic and regulatory standards. Foster a positive, professional, and supportive rehabilitation experience for every patient. Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence as the new clinic launches and grows.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility for licensure). Experience in outpatient orthopedic and/or hand therapy preferred. Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while also thriving in a multidisciplinary, team-based orthopedic practice. Passion for empowering patients to regain function, independence, and confidence in daily life.
