Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts Experience or strong interest in school-based Occupational Therapy Familiarity supporting students with SLP (speech-language pathology) needs, ADHD, and mild ASD Background in delivering OT services in home health, healthcare, or school environments Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including SLPs, teachers, and parents Exceptional organizational and communication skills
Main Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive OT assessments of students to identify areas of need Design and implement individualized therapy plans targeting students with SLP, ADHD, and mild Autism Spectrum Disorder Collaborate with classroom staff to develop effective accommodations and promote student independence Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and progress updates Document sessions, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and ensure timely reporting Support carryover of OT strategies in both academic and home settings In addition to a rewarding work environment, this role offers pay starting at $45 per hour and a schedule that lets you make an impact while maintaining work-life balance.
