62 an hour 21 hours ago Qualifications Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Make a positive impact in the school community by providing essential occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. In this onsite contract opportunity, your expertise will help support a variety of age groups with diverse needs, promoting student growth and success within an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Active and valid Occupational Therapist license required Previous experience in a K-12 school environment preferred Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant therapy documentation Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapy strategies to suit different learning and developmental stages
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students onsite, addressing sensory, motor, and functional skills Assess and document student abilities; develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual goals Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to ensure integrated support for each child Maintain compliance with state/licensure guidelines and school policies Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reporting as required
