Key Qualifications:

Valid, current Occupational Therapist license (required) Experience working in a school environment preferred Strong knowledge of best practices in school-based occupational therapy Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for students ranging in age from kindergarten through high school Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Comfortable collaborating in a multidisciplinary team

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough occupational therapy assessments and evaluations for students Develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with educators and families Deliver onsite therapeutic interventions within various classroom settings Support students participation in academics, activities of daily living, and social interactions Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for student goals Consult with teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care This contract position runs from September 1, 2026, through June 14, 2027, and requires a commitment to working onsite three days per week with a diverse student population.
