Job Description

Thom Child and Family Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team. We are committed to enhancing early childhood development and providing high-quality care to young children and families. In this role, you will work directly with children who have various developmental challenges, helping them achieve their highest potential through therapeutic practices and personalized care plans. This position offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children in a supportive and professional environment. Responsibilities Evaluate children's skills and needs and their living and school environments, advising on adaptations and improvements to support their well-being and development. Develop and implement well-structured and personalized intervention plans to promote children's active participation in activities at home, in childcare environments, and in communities. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists, speech therapists, and pediatricians, to provide holistic care to children. Communicate consistently with parents and guardians about their child's progress, challenges, and ways they can support their child's developmental goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patients' care, progress, and prognosis. Required Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to construct and execute effective treatment plans Capability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Proficiency in using therapy equipment and implementing various therapy modalities
