An exciting opportunity awaits for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide essential support to infants and toddlers in a dynamic school district setting. This full-time contract position begins as soon as possible and runs through July 1, 2027, offering a rewarding and stable assignment. You'll deliver occupational therapy services from a central district office, collaborating with educators, families, and fellow professionals to promote the development and independence of young learners. Desired Qualifications:
Active Maryland Occupational Therapy (OT) license required Demonstrated experience in school-based occupational therapy, particularly with early childhood populations Strong understanding of IEP implementation and early intervention practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff and families Passion for working with infants and toddlers with diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of infants and toddlers in accordance with
IEP/IFSP
goals Collaborate with special educators, classroom teachers, and family members to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines Document evaluations, progress, and therapy outcomes in compliance with district and legal standards Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review individualized plans Educate staff and caregivers on best practices and adaptive techniques to support children's functional success This position offers an engaging work schedule aligned with school programs and the chance to contribute meaningfully to early childhood development.
