Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Deliver impactful physical therapy services to students across K-12 settings and help support student success in a dynamic school environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with passionate educators and dedicated staff while providing essential PT interventions.
Key Qualifications:
Active Maryland Physical Therapy license (MD PT License) required Experience delivering services in school-based settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred Familiarity with documentation requirements for schools, including IEPs and related services Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams Adaptable and creative in tailoring interventions for diverse learners and developmental needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services for students K-12 Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and set appropriate therapy goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students' access to educational activities Maintain thorough documentation in alignment with district and state requirements Attend IEP meetings and participate in progress discussions for each student on your caseload Deliver therapy three days per week, ensuring quality care and continuity for all assigned students
