Qualifications and Experience:
Active Maryland Occupational Therapist (OT) license required Prior experience in a school setting or working with infants and toddlers strongly preferred Understanding of school-based therapy practices and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with families, teachers, and a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop therapy plans for students in the Infant and Toddler program Deliver direct and consultative OT services to support student participation and development Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement strategies that facilitate learning Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and participate in IFSP meetings Stay current with best practices and continuing education relevant to pediatric occupational therapy
