Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting early learners as a skilled Occupational Therapist. Collaborate with a dynamic educational team to provide specialized OT services tailored to infants and toddlers. This contract position is based at a district office near California, MD, servicing a dedicated caseload within a supportive school district environment. As the point OT for the Infant and Toddler program, youll be instrumental in helping young children reach developmental milestones by creating individualized plans and engaging families in the therapeutic process. Enjoy a consistent full-time schedule with a start date as soon as possible and an assignment through July 2027, offering stability throughout the academic years.
Qualifications:
Active Maryland Occupational Therapist (OT) license required Experience or strong interest in pediatric, early intervention, or school-based OT preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and families Commitment to evidence-based practice, documentation, and compliance with school policies Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for infants and toddlers within the school program Develop and update individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes Collaborate with teachers, service coordinators, and families to deliver cohesive support Participate in team meetings, IFSPs, and professional training as needed Maintain detailed records to ensure compliance and ongoing progress monitoring This role offers a unique chance to make a difference in the lives of young children and families, while working alongside dedicated professionals within a vibrant district environment.
