At Vision and Conceptual Development Center, we are looking for the right person to train and grow into this role. If you're enthusiastic, coachable, and eager to learn something new every day, we want to meet you. This is a full-time, entry-level position, and we provide extensive training in vision therapy. You'll work one-on-one with patients of all ages, especially children, using innovative tools and techniques to improve visual function and quality of life. Responsibilities Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions following individualized treatment plans Work directly with patients of all ages, especially children Use engaging tools and exercises to improve patients' eye teaming, tracking, focusing, and processing Maintain accurate records of session outcomes and progress Perform vision and cognitive testing Create a supportive and motivating environment for each patient Collaborate with doctors, staff, and other therapists Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training Maintain a clean and organized workspace Adapt to learning new techniques and clinical concepts at a college-level pace We're Looking for Someone who is: Eager to learn and open to new clinical concepts Energetic, caring, and patient-focused Excellent with children A natural problem-solver with strong spatial reasoning Able to work independently and as part of a team Patient, dependable, and professional Capable of physically moving throughout active therapy sessions (e.g., sitting, standing, kneeling) Requirements Bachelor's degree required Finalists will be asked to provide official College transcripts Must be a quick learner and able to grasp new concepts rapidly Must have experience working with children Strong spatial reasoning and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Must be patient, energetic, and team-oriented Typing speed minimum 50 wpm Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and electronic health records (EHR) Physically able to move comfortably throughout active sessions (kneeling, sitting, standing) Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Background in education, psychology, therapy, or health sciences Experience with vision therapy, occupational therapy, or special education Prior work with individuals with neurological or developmental conditions About Us At Vision and Conceptual Development Center, we offer cutting-edge vision therapy services that help patients overcome visual challenges that impact learning, reading, attention, and daily life.
