Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Occupational Therapist supporting infants and toddlers in an educational setting. This full-time role, based at a central district office, is ideal for professionals who are passionate about nurturing young learners' developmental skills and partnering with families and educators to create meaningful change.
Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapy license in Maryland required Previous experience with infant and toddler populations highly valued Strong communication abilities for collaborating with staff and families Commitment to best practices in pediatric and school-based
OT Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative OT services to infants and toddlers in alignment with individual education or family service plans Assess student needs, develop customized intervention plans, and track progress toward established goals Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district standards Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional learning opportunities as needed Enjoy the consistency of a contract running through July 1, 2027, and the chance to make a lasting impact on the youngest students in the district.
