Job Description

Step into a rewarding occupational therapy role serving elementary students in a supportive and dynamic school environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students across multiple schools, including Great Mills High School, Spring Ridge Middle School, George Washington Carver Elementary School, Lexington Park Elementary School, Ridge Elementary School, Park Hall Elementary School, and Greenview Knolls Elementary School. The current caseload consists of 26 students, providing a manageable and meaningful opportunity to deliver impactful therapy services.
Key Qualifications:
Active Maryland OT license required Previous experience in pediatric, school, or educational settings strongly preferred Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation Strong communicative and collaborative skills to work with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students in a school-based environment
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students, individually and in small groups, based on established IEP goals Assess and document student needs, progress, and outcomes Collaborate with educators, classroom support staff, and parents to promote student success and engagement Participate in IEP meetings, contributing professional insights and recommendations Travel between the assigned schools as needed to ensure caseload coverage Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district policies and state guidelines This is a full-time, contract opportunity starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 4, 2027.
