Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to work with infants and toddlers at the district office near Lusby, MD. This full-time position allows you to make a meaningful difference in early childhood development within an educational setting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with young children and collaborate well with families and staff. As an OT in a school-based setting, you'll help create and implement individualized strategies to support developmental goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current Maryland Occupational Therapist (OT) license Experience or strong interest in pediatric/early intervention preferred Knowledge of school-based OT practices and documentation Effective communication and collaboration skills Commitment to supportive, family-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to infants and toddlers, supporting motor and sensory development Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) Collaborate closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by the district and state guidelines Participate in professional meetings, team discussions, and ongoing training as needed Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs and evolving caseloads This contract offers a chance to work with a dedicated team at the district office, with a start date as soon as possible and stability through July 1, 2027.
