School Occupational Therapist - Lusby, Maryland

Job Description

Make a real difference in students lives by supporting their growth and independence! Were seeking two passionate Occupational Therapists to provide expert services within the supportive school community on the southern end of St. Marys County. This is a full-time contract role, beginning August 10th, 2026 and continuing through June 17th, 2027, ideal for professionals who thrive in collaborative, student-centered environments. Youll work closely with educators, administrators, and families to implement individualized therapy plans that help students overcome challenges and access their educational curriculum. Qualifications:
Active Maryland OT license (required) Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and goal setting Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage full-time schedules across multiple school sites Your responsibilities will include: Conducting assessments and developing individualized intervention plans for students Delivering direct and consultative OT services in a school setting Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with teachers, families, and other service providers Maintaining accurate and timely documentation as per school and state requirements Traveling between sites (as needed) on the southern end of the county to serve a varied caseload Youll be part of a positive, professional network that values your expertise and invests in student progress.
