This is a contract opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist ready to make an immediate impact for K-5 learners. The position is based at elementary schools and provides a stable, full-time schedule through June 2027.

Key Experience and Licensure Requirements:

Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Maryland Experience working in school settings, ideally with elementary-aged children (K-5) Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and educational staff Ability to adapt therapy plans for diverse learning and developmental needs Knowledge of IEP development and participation in meetings is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver targeted OT services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals Assess and document students needs, progress, and outcomes Collaborate with educators and paraprofessionals to support student participation in school activities Provide consultative guidance to staff and families for at-home support strategies Maintain accurate records and support compliance with all educational and special education regulations Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings related to student progress This contract offers a highly structured schedule, working 35 hours per week in engaging elementary schools. The assignment runs through early June 2027, enabling you to build meaningful connections with staff and students alike.
