Supplemental Health Care is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a partnering School District in Prince Frederick, MD . This full-time, in-person opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact working with elementary-aged students across two school buildings during the 2026-2027 school year.

Assignment Details Pay Rate:

$47-$52 per hour

Contract Dates:

November 1, 2026 through January 29, 2027

Schedule:

35 hours per week

Shift:

7.5-hour day (7 working hours plus 30-minute lunch break)

Setting:

Elementary Schools Caseload:

Approximately 25 students

Travel:

Services provided across two school buildings Job Responsibilities Evaluate students and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans Provide direct occupational therapy services to support educational and developmental goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Recommend classroom accommodations, adaptive equipment, and intervention strategies Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements Qualifications Active Maryland Occupational Therapist License Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience supporting elementary-aged students is a plus Why SHC Education?
