Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by providing essential Occupational Therapy services to K-12 students in a supportive school setting on a full-time contract basis. This opportunity allows you to work collaboratively with dedicated educators and families, making a difference every day for students with varying needs.

Key Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in Maryland, or eligibility to obtain licensure Previous experience working in school settings or with school-aged children preferred Strong knowledge of pediatric OT intervention techniques and documentation Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads, ranging from kindergarten through high school

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions to support student success in academic environments Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student progress Contribute to the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) by providing relevant assessment findings and recommendations Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with school, district, and legal requirements Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
