Job Description

Embark on an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment, working with students who benefit from specialized occupational therapy services. This contract position is perfectly suited for a dedicated professional looking to contribute expertise within a flexible, part-time schedule.
Essential Expertise and Credentials:
Active Maine Occupational Therapy License (ME OT Cert required) Background providing OT services in educational or school-based settings Skill in designing, implementing, and documenting individualized therapy plans for children Strong organizational abilities to manage both direct therapy time and necessary paperwork Ability to work effectively as the sole onsite OT and as a member of a multidisciplinary school team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide onsite OT direct services to approximately 11 students, four hours per week Collaborate with faculty and staff to optimize support for each students unique needs Conduct assessments and write clear, accurate evaluation and progress reports Maintain compliance with all school documentation and reporting standards Attend relevant meetings as needed and communicate progress to educational staff and families Manage additional indirect hours required for thorough planning and documentation
