Description:
Looking for a role where your expertise helps students build independence and succeed in school? Were seeking a dedicated, Full-Time (40 hours/week), In-person Occupational Therapist (OT) in Corunna, MI . In this role, you'll work to support students' motor, sensory, and functional needs. You'll play a vital role in helping students access their educational environment and develop the skills needed for success both in and out of the classroom. This is a temporary 12-week assignment starting in November.

Full-time schedule of hours per week In-person only position Supportive, student-centered educational environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' independence, participation, and academic success What you'll need: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of special education services, IEP processes, and goal development Ability to conduct evaluations, interpret assessment results, and develop individualized treatment plans Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, and organizational skills Key responsibilities: Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations to identify students' functional and educational needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills necessary for participation in school activities Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development, accommodations, and progress monitoring Recommend and support the use of adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and intervention strategies Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records in accordance with district and state requirements
