2026-2027 E-Therapy, powered by Edustaff, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for an onsite school-based opportunity in Dearborn Heights, Michigan for the 2026-2027 school year. This position will support students across two elementary schools , providing occupational therapy services designed to promote independence, participation, and success within the educational environment. Responsibilities Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to elementary-aged students Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' functional and educational needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized IEP goals Provide interventions addressing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional school participation Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, special education staff, and other related service providers Recommend accommodations, adaptive strategies, and assistive equipment as appropriate Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements Qualifications Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Michigan Occupational Therapist license or ability to obtain NBCOT certification School-based and pediatric experience preferred Knowledge of the IEP process and special education services Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Compensation & Benefits $48-$53/hour W2 , based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) License reimbursement Professional development opportunities Support from our recruiting and clinical teams Join Our Team If you're an Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with elementary-aged students and collaborating with school teams to help children succeed, we'd love to connect with you.
