Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K12 students in the Lansing, MI area as a dedicated school-based Occupational Therapist. Youll work closely with students, educators, and families to help children reach important developmental milestones and achieve success in the classroom. Desired Qualifications:
Current state OT license and certification for Michigan (OT MI) Relevant experience in school settings, home health, or pediatric healthcare preferred Proficient in assessment, intervention planning, and goal tracking for children and adolescents Strong communication skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Dedicated to fostering independence and participation for diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Develop and implement interventions tailored to each students unique needs Collaborate with educators to support classroom adaptations and accommodations Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and report outcomes as needed Engage with families to deliver supportive strategies for skill generalization at home This contract position builds your professional network and career experience while you help students thrive.
