Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan Previous school-based OT experience is highly desired Strong understanding of pediatric therapy practices and individualized education program (IEP) processes Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and fellow professionals Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to students unique needs

Responsibilities:

Provide therapeutic interventions to help students improve fine motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional skills within the school environment Conduct assessments and contribute to IEP meetings with clear, insightful recommendations Collaborate with staff and families to ensure continuity of care and share progress updates Document therapy sessions, maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, and participate in professional development opportunities Adapt therapy techniques to offer engaging, accessible support in both individual and group sessions This full-time, contract position offers the fulfillment of making a positive impact on childrens educational and personal growth, while providing regular school-day hours and a team-focused environment.
