Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students from kindergarten through age 26 as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school setting near Rochester, MI. This full-time contract position offers the chance to work directly onsite within an educational environment, providing essential services and interventions to help students thrive throughout the academic year. The assignment runs from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and includes a 35-hour work week.
Key Qualifications:
Current, valid Occupational Therapy license for Michigan (submit a screenshot of licensure documentation with your application) Prior experience working in school-based settings Strong knowledge of OT best practices and compliance in educational environments Dedication to supporting students with diverse learning and physical needs, aged K through 26 Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized occupational therapy assessments and implement therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs Work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families to develop and execute effective intervention strategies Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in compliance with state and federal school regulations Facilitate progress monitoring and make recommendations for ongoing student support Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise to inform goal development and educational planning Ensure therapy services follow best practices and maintain a student-centered focus This onsite opportunity is designed for a licensed Occupational Therapist passionate about making a difference in the educational setting.
