This contract position is tailored for experienced Occupational Therapists who are passionate about supporting children in an educational setting. You'll collaborate with educators and families to help students develop essential skills, adapt to school routines, and thrive in academic and social environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience working in a school-based setting (preferred) Knowledge of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs Organizational abilities and a proactive approach to case management
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills Develop and monitor individualized intervention plans Provide direct and consultative therapeutic services to students Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and recommendations Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster students' educational success This role offers the opportunity to engage with dedicated professionals, actively contribute to students' development, and expand your expertise in pediatric therapy.
