Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic educational setting near Osseo, MN. You'll collaborate with faculty, families, and other professionals to create and implement strategies that empower students to succeed academically and personally.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid OT licensure in the state Experience working as an OT in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in developing and carrying out IEPs Adaptability, creativity, and patience in supporting students with diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students' unique strengths and challenges Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each student Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support learning goals Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Provide direct and consultative OT services within the educational environment Educate and advise staff on adaptive strategies and classroom modifications This opportunity offers the flexibility of contract work within a school year schedule and the distinct satisfaction of nurturing the growth and independence of students.
