Qualifications & Experience:
Current Occupational Therapy license Masters degree in Occupational Therapy required Previous experience in a pediatric or school-based setting is highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students needs Commitment to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to integrate therapy goals with educational plans Conduct assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and session outcomes Contribute expert insights as part of a multidisciplinary team to maximize student success Support classroom staff with strategies and tools to enhance students functional abilities
