Provides outpatient occupational therapy evaluation and treatments for patients with any number of physical impairments which affect their ability to do their work or leisure activites. Department is staffed by occupational therapists and an occupational therapy assistant. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for evaluation / treatment of medical disorders; clinical / program / staff & student development; education / training. May also participate in research, improvement projects / processes to support patient care and promote innovation. Responsibilities

• Establishes treatment plan and provides treatment, considering discharge needs; expected discharge functional status; and appropriate equipment and supplies.
• Educates, collaborates with, and conferences with patients, families, and other health care providers; making recommendations for referrals to specialists as needed.
• Delegates to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication including determining the skill level or competency required to provide interventions to best meet the needs of the patient.
• Provides assessment, consultations and/or treatment services based on clinical practice guidelines and department policies.
• Assists in planning, developing and managing processes and special projects to support staff development, care delivery and innovation. Minimum Requirements Education
• Bachelor's Degree Experience
• 2-5 years Supervisor Experience
• No Experience Licenses & Certifications
• Board Cert in Area of Expertis
• Cert/Lic in Area of Expertise Preferred Requirements Education
