Success:

Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in Missouri Proven experience or clinical placements in a school-based OT setting Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Compassionate, adaptable, and skilled at motivating students Ability to travel between school sites in the Florissant and St. Louis areas

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs Assess students' functional performance and develop intervention plans that support educational goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop accessible learning strategies and classroom modifications Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and ongoing communication Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills vital for school success
