Qualifications:
Current, active Missouri Physical Therapy license required Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly preferred Comfortable managing a PreK caseload and tailoring interventions for young children Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to ethical standards
Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate students' physical abilities and needs within the school setting Develop and execute individualized education program (IEP) goals related to motor skills, mobility, and physical health Work closely with teachers and other specialists to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines Educate families and staff on techniques to support student progress Monitor, document, and report on student outcomes and ongoing needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning Enjoy the balance of three workdays per week, fostering both professional impact and personal flexibility during the school year.
