Job Overview:
www.hmlfunctionalcare.com HML Functional Care is hiring! Looking for a holistic minded individual(s). We are a Functional Neurology-based Chiropractic practice specializing in children with special needs including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia and other relearning disorders. As well as adults and children with anxiety, depression, vertigo, dizziness, post-concussion, chronic pain, headaches and migraines. Looking for applicants preferably with a background working with children with needs in occupational or physical therapy, or OTA/PTA. You will be working directly and indirectly supervised with patients performing neurological rehabilitation exercises. The applicant will also be cross-trained in administrative duties such as scheduling patients, answering phone calls, etc. Working some evening until as late as 7pm is a must.
Responsibilities:
  • 1 on 1 interaction with patients, primarily children and teens, taking them through brain-based exercises
  • Administrative duties such as answering the phone, scheduling patients, insurance billing Qualifications/Skills
  • OT/PT or OTA/PTA background preferred
  • History of working in a health care office
  • Experience working with kids with special needs
