Specialized Treatment Facility is requesting information until 4 pm Thursday September 17, 2026 for the purpose of contracting a part-time Occupational Therapist to work with adolescents in our psychiatric residential treatment facility. Hiring Monday through Friday shift for $65 per hour to work up to 80 hours per month with a 1-year contract. Preferred experience includes one year of direct experience in working with adolescents with mental illness. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screen. Must be certified by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapists and licensed by the Mississippi State Board of Health. Scope of Services Contractor will perform services as an on-site PRN Occupational Therapist for the following services: Administer individual evaluation or screening of persons referred for or receiving occupational therapy. Develop written service objectives. Develop and provide occupational therapy programs based on individual assessments Train and monitor staff in implementing individual programs Recommend occupational therapy activities Provide consultation on adaptive equipment and equipment modifications Complete evaluation reports, monthly progress notes, or other paperwork as required State Application and Reference Packet must be received no later than Thursday September 17, 2026 at 4 pm either by email to jhayden@stf.ms.gov, fax to (228)328-4027 or hand delivered along with required licensed and certifications for the position to 14426 James Bond Road, Gulfport, MS 39503.
