Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students across elementary, middle, and high school settings through a rewarding contract Occupational Therapy position. This opportunity allows you to work with a vibrant student population, providing essential therapy services and helping each child reach their full potential. The role begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. What you bring to the role: Licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in North Carolina Experience working with school-aged children across diverse needs and environments Background in school-based or healthcare/clinic OT preferred; home health experience is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school teams Ability to develop and implement individualized interventions for students K-12 Flexibility and adaptability to address the needs of various age groups What you'll do: Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels Administer assessments to determine students' needs and document progress toward goals Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to create and adapt individualized plans Offer expertise during IEP meetings and contribute to the development of functional goals Maintain accurate therapy records and comply with school and district documentation requirements Embrace a multidisciplinary environment, supporting inclusion and student success in the classroom Imagine the impact you can make while working alongside dedicated educational professionals, all while enjoying a consistent weekly schedule.
