$40-$50 per hour, based on experiencePosition OverviewAn established multidisciplinary pediatric therapy organization is seeking a full-time Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join its growing team in Goldsboro, NC.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pediatric OT or a motivated new graduate with a strong interest in pediatric care. The position offers the opportunity to provide individualized therapy services in a collaborative environment while contributing to the continued growth of the Occupational Therapy program.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe Pediatric Occupational Therapist will:

Evaluate children and identify developmental, functional, sensory, and occupational performance needs.

Develop individualized plans of care based on each child's functional abilities and treatment needs.

Provide engaging and evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions.

Address fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care skills, visual-motor integration, coordination, and other functional needs.

Establish measurable treatment goals and monitor patient progress.

Educate parents and caregivers on strategies to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.

Collaborate with families and members of the interdisciplinary care team.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.

Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team discussions.

Contribute to the continued development and expansion of Occupational Therapy services.

Provide clinical supervision and oversight of Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) as the program expands, in accordance with applicable licensure, regulatory, and organizational requirements.

QualificationsCurrent North Carolina Occupational Therapist license required.

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Occupational Therapy program required.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience preferred.2+ years of Occupational Therapy experience preferred.2+ years of pediatric experience preferred.

New graduates with a strong interest in pediatric Occupational Therapy are encouraged to apply.

CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively with children, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.

Commitment to delivering high-quality, family-centered pediatric care.
EducationRequired:
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
ExperienceOccupational Therapy:
2 years preferred
