Job Description

Description Rehab
  • Works independently to provide occupational therapy evaluations and therapy services to patients as ordered by a physician, consistent with agency policies and procedures, standards of practice, and regulations as directed by the Rehab Director of Iredell Memorial Hospital.
Develops and administers occupational therapy treatment programs to facilitate rehabilitation of physically disabled patients and to maximize function and independence. IHH
  • Works independently to provide occupational therapy evaluations and therapy services to patients as ordered by a physician, consistent with agency policies and procedures, standards of practice, and regulations as directed by the Executive Director and Team Coordinator.
Develops and administers occupational therapy treatment programs to facilitate rehabilitation of physically disabled patients and to maximize function and independence.

  • Thurs. 8:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM, Fri. 8:00 AM
  • 1:00 PM Requirements Rehab
  • Current licensure in NC as an Occupational Therapist or state licensure examination eligible.
CPR certification required. If not currently certified, must obtain within 30 days of hire. Successful completion of a competency based orientation which includes age and population specific skills for the area of practice in which the OT will be working, and addresses the growth and development needs for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. IHH
  • Current licensure in North Carolina as an Occupational Therapist.
Home Health experience preferred. Minimum of one year's experience in a health care facility Physical Requirements Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
