Prefer an OT who understands the work from a developmental framework, less so from a behavioral lens. We provide dynamite training if not yet experienced! Parent engagement is paramount to successful interventions so family systems and mental health background will be helpful, simply growing up in a family is enough experience - just learning how to effectively apply is the joy.
