Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract role supporting young learners at a vibrant elementary school near Keene, NH! As an Occupational Therapist, you'll make a direct and meaningful impact in students' daily lives, helping them reach their fullest potential in the school setting. This full-time position spans 35-37.5 hours each week, from August 26, 2026 through June 15, 2027. Your expertise will be vital as you: Assess students' physical development and self-regulation abilities, using your clinical skills to help each child find strong footing and participate confidently in the learning environment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to support each student's objectives, collaborating with education teams for strategic student placement Identify and address environmental barriers in classrooms and shared spaces, offering actionable recommendations so that every student learns in a safe, accessible setting Work closely with school staff and families, sharing insights and strategies to maximize student growth and engagement Desired qualifications include: A current NH Occupational Therapy License Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (BS or MS required) Proven experience (ideally with school-aged children) in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy Strong commitment to collaboration, flexibility, and ongoing professional development This contract role offers the chance to work within a supportive educational environment, focusing on one elementary school community.
