Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Valid and current OT license in New Hampshire (or eligibility for reciprocal) Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred Demonstrated knowledge of IEP development and implementation Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and work independently Innovative problem-solving approach and adaptability
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students needs related to occupational therapy Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals Provide direct therapy services to students, integrating objectives into classroom routines Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure holistic support Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district standards Actively participate in IEP meetings and share insights with team members Assist with training of staff on strategies and accommodations
