Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A unique opportunity awaits a skilled Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings for a contract position supporting two charter school campuses just outside Swanzey, NH. This part-time, onsite role is ideal for a certified NH OT who thrives on providing both direct and consultative services to students across grades 1 through 5. The assignment spans locations in Keene and Surry, approximately 15 minutes apart, offering variety and flexibility in your work environment—scheduling can be coordinated directly with the school director.
Key Qualifications:
Current New Hampshire Occupational Therapy certification is required Proven experience in school-based OT preferred Ability to independently manage a multi-site caseload Strong communication and collaborative consultation skills Commitment to meeting individualized student needs and IEP goals
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct OT services across both the Gathering Waters (Keene) and Surry Village charter schools (Surry), including annual direct sessions (ranging between 20 to 50 per year per student, typically 30 minutes each) Conduct routine consultative sessions for students and staff, with frequency varying from 2 to 10 times per year, supporting educators and families on student-specific strategies Document all therapy sessions and maintain compliance with school and state documentation standards Collaborate with educators, special education teams, and school administrators to ensure student success Enjoy the opportunity to tailor your schedule in partnership with supportive school leadership, working with students in vibrant learning communities.
