This assignment runs Monday through Friday, starting as soon as possible and continuing through December 23rd. If you're looking for part-time flexibility, there's an option to divide the position between two OTs. In this position, you'll provide essential therapy services across three vibrant elementary schools, working with a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students. Most therapy sessions are conducted individually or in small groups, allowing for personalized approaches and stronger therapeutic relationships.

Key Qualifications:

Active Occupational Therapy license and state certification required Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor interventions to meet individual needs Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude working with young learners

Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students identified in need, both individually and in small group formats Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress, documenting outcomes and updating plans as needed Provide guidance and resources to staff and families to support students' progress Travel between three nearby elementary school sites as part of your regular schedule This is an excellent opportunity to work within an engaged school community and truly help children develop the skills they need to succeed.
