Tuesdays & Thursdays | Approximately 4-5 hours per day About Us Shivaya Rehabilitation is a growing outpatient rehabilitation company providing high-quality physical, occupational, and speech therapy services throughout New Jersey. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at a Medical Adult Day Care (MADC) in Marlton, NJ. Position Summary The Occupational Therapist will provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to a primarily geriatric population attending a Medical Adult Day Care. The ideal candidate is passionate about improving functional independence, safety, and quality of life for older adults. Responsibilities Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide skilled therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, balance, coordination, cognition, and overall independence. Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs. Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, social workers, and rehabilitation team members. Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and company regulations. Qualifications Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) license. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience working with geriatric patients preferred. Medical Adult Day Care, outpatient, or skilled nursing experience is a plus. What We Offer Flexible part-time schedule.
