About Us The Institute for Hand & Arm Surgery is a specialized orthopedic upper extremity practice dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, and peripheral nerve conditions. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative and patient-centered environment. We provide comprehensive treatment ranging from conservative management of common injuries to advanced surgical care for complex upper extremity conditions. Position Overview The Institute for Hand & Arm Surgery is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) for a part-time position, providing maternity leave coverage at the
MADISON, NJ
office. The therapist will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of upper extremity diagnoses, fabricate custom orthoses, and work collaboratively with our hand surgeons to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services. This position offers direct mentorship from two hand surgeons. Qualifications Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred but not required Physical Agent Modality Certification preferred Experience in upper extremity rehabilitation and custom orthosis fabrication Strong communication and interpersonal skills Solid clinical reasoning and medical knowledge Previous hand therapy experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Employment Type Part-Time Maternity Coverage Position.
Anticipated coverage period:
